  This is what feels like a warm hug after a hell of a week. This athreya guy is one of the strong reasons for me to fall in love with this so called new wave of Telugu cinema, thanks to Brochevarevarura!

  Ante Sundaraniki is a perfect example of how to make use of solid three hours to make you laugh, feel, cry and sh*t your pants. The beauty of the film is it tries so hard to get projected as a dumb rom-com to the audience but hopefully doesn't. That's when all the emotions and sentiments fall into the right place and preserves it from becoming generic and dumb. The non-linear screenplay is yet another thing I loved so much…

  A quirky romantic entertainer that has it’s good share of hilarious situational humor, refreshing narrative elements, strong dialogues and decent emotions, but the overlong runtime and slightly outdated approach in the end hurts the engagement factor. Nani’s effortless performance, impeccable comic timing and his charming chemistry with Nazriya work majorly in its favor. Apart from them, Naresh, Rohini and Harshavardhan make good impact. A much crisper first half could have helped it more, but nevertheless it’s a fun enjoyable watch.

  Vivek Athreya takes the learnings of his previous two films and delivers some of the most textured work in this now overpopulated, quirk-a-minute Indian genre-- which hasn't been putting character above theme nearly enough anymore. Not only is this visually flawless in the simplest of ways, but also every screenwriting aspect and artist involved is in blind service of the characters being imagined. The feeling of seeing Pellichoopulu for the first time in 2016 was always going to be hard to find again in Tollywood's streaming era. Happy to say this might've outdone it.

  Watched thrice in theatre, yet I dig more.
  The high a great rom-com gives is unmatched. I feel, live and get every emotion they trynna bring onscreen.

  It's been so long a film made me fall in love with it's set up, enjoy every second of it, vibe along together and most importantly makes you think and feel a lot of things without being preachy. Amazing music and a clever screenplay with two "made for the genre" actors playing the leads? I'M SOLD.

  Ante Sundaraniki! is one of the best romcom in Indian Cinema. It is a true reflection of Vivek Athreya’s honest writing and storytelling. The film welcomes the audience into the world of his film by opening it with exposing the worlds of Sundar and Leela, in complete contrast with each other. The traditions, rituals and practices of both the religions, Hinduism and Christianity are shown so perfectly with a balance and without sticking to one side. The film takes his time to establish the lead characters very strongly so that the audience will get connected to them for a long run time.

  Vivek Athreya, a man with interesting stories to tell in interesting ways. Ante Sundaraniki is a heartwarming story with a lot of laughs and a whole lot of emotions.

  Vivek Athreya has been perfecting his craft after his each feature, here he takes his time to set the premise of the movie with a lot of cutaways in an engaging manner. We learn bits and bits about the characters through the cutaways and when we finally get to know about their love story, we are so engrossed in the characters that we would take anything the director feeds us, even if it's the same storyline we were accustomed to through several movies.   എടാ ടിക്കറ്റ് കൗണ്ടറിലെ തായോളി നിന്നോട് ഞാൻ നല്ല ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ അല്ലെ മൈരേ ചോദിച്ചേ "are there subtitles" എന്ന്. ഇന്നിട്ട് നീ ഉടനെ തന്നെ ഇല്ല എന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും തിരിച്ച് "yes" എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞേ എന്തിനാടാ പച്ചപ്പൂറി. നിന്റെ കൊച്ചിന് വയറിളക്കം വന്നിട്ട് നിന്റെ ടാങ്കിലെ വെള്ളം തീരണേ തമ്പ്രാനെ. 3 മണിക്കൂറോളം ആണ് ഞാൻ ഒരു idea ഇല്ലാണ്ട് ആ തിയേറ്ററിൽ ഇരുന്നത്. കൂടെ ഇണ്ടാർന്ന audience കാരണം മാത്രം എപ്പോ ചിരിക്കണം എന്ന് മനസ്സിലായി. ഇമ്മാതിരി മൈരന്മാർക് വധശിക്ഷ പോരാ. എന്നാലും എന്റെ 180 രൂപ. മര്യാദയ്ക് രണ്ട് ഊത്തപ്പം കഴിക്കായിരുന്നു
