Plot

Set in the dog town of Pawston, the series follows the adventures of Tag Barker, a plucky dog girl from a large family, and her best friend Scooch Pooch, who recently moved to Pawston. The pair often find themselves dealing with various problems around town resulting from mishaps, Tag's enthusiastic but at times misguided approach to her various passions, and the antics of the duo of Frank and Beans.

The first season follows Tag and Scooch as they compete to become members of the Race Cadets, a group of young dogs receiving guidance from star racer Sam Whippet.

The second season focuses on the dog duo as they help plan a big party for the 100th anniversary of Pawston's founding.

In season three, the town welcomes its new citizens, the Whiskertons, who had moved from Meowbuquerque to fill in for Dale Mation, who's having puppies.

In season four, Sam Whippet needs a new crew chief after his previous crew chief, Jerry, retired, and Tag is determined to take the spot. Then, after she becomes Sam's new crew chief, she helps steer team Pawston to victory in the big Dogcathalon competition.
