We purchased one of these types of dishwashers by Whirlpool, within about 1-2 years a part on the door that provides the deceleration when the door opens, completely broke. Do NOT buy Whirlpool! Unfortunately, we also bought Whirlpool fridge before we realized what poor quality Whirlpool appliances are made with and the lack of integrity. Within about 1-2 years the ice/water broke, and within 6-7 years it stopped working completely!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wv mom from One month in I’ve been using this dishwasher a month. It gets most of the dishes clean, but not all of them. Anything with dried particles does not come off. However, the years old stains in my tea pitcher have come off. I’m adjusting loading process, and rinsing the plates and cleaning has improved. Third shelf is only nice for plastic lids and utensils that are not dirty.
