Vintage CK Van Nortwick, In the Garden of Dreams, 1930, Old Handmade Frame (2024)

Beautiful Vintage CK Van Nortwick's most known work, "In the Garden of Dreams", circa 1930; printed by The Gerlach Barklow Co. Joliet, USA. His work is very reminiscent of the artists Maxfield Parrish and Fox with the Greek garden scenes and landscapes.This beautiful print is mounted on a very old wooden handmade frame, measuring 20" wide x 21" high. The print measures 12.25" wide x 14 5/8" high.The print is marked with the name of the work on the lower right hand corner and the artist's name and printing company and address on the lower left corner. The piece is in good to very good vintage condition depending on taste and preference. The frame is wood, but also seems to have molding areas that have popped off. The paint is fading and shows as multicolored (green teal/grayish). We prefer this aged look which gives it character and makes it unique.
